Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations and designing plant maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in heavy machinery maintenance and multi-product environments. They will also possess knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, as well as diagnostics.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and design plant maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
  • Evaluating production activities and preparing reports on plant machines and equipment.
  • Collaborating with other departments to maintain mechanical integrity.
  • Performing regular audits and inspections on maintenance programs.

The successful candidate will also be required to:

  • Design and implement preventive maintenance programs in coordination with the yard manager.
  • Monitor plant operations and assist in scheduling maintenance plans for machines and tools.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to products, work sequences, or processes.
  • Manage plant equipment inventories and ensure effective operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience (senior role available for candidates with more experience).
  • Experience with heavy machinery maintenance and multi-product environments is preferred.
