EHS and Facility Associate

Our Singapore facility is a strategic hub in the Asia Pacific region with 22+ years of expertise in the import/export, secondary packaging and labeling of clinical supplies, cold chain handling of temperature sensitive products, and full returns and destruction management.

We are currently recruiting a Facility Associate to join our site. The associate will report directly to the EHS & Facility Manager and ensure that Catalent Singapore’s equipment, facilities and plant are constantly in compliance with environmental, safety and GMP legislation. They will also lead the Planned Maintenance Program and carryout repairs at the Singapore facility to ensure the plant is operating efficiently.

**The role**:

- Assist the Facilities Manager in leading the Planned Maintenance Program and ensure effective fault diagnosis and problem solving to optimize safe performance.
- Maintain and operate a planned maintenance system for the plant and equipment in JDE Systems.
- Monitor energy usage, prepare statements of usage, perform the calibration/ mapping /verification of equipment.
- Assist to maintain records of the testing/calibration in order to verify the accuracy of facility instrumentation.
- Prepare and assist with validation and calculation work on new projects and facilities.
- Ensure quality of work carried out by service providers and installation contractors is completed to a satisfactory standard.
- Conduct repairs and participate in improvement projects.
- Assist to maintain records of the testing/calibration of equipment that are required to verify the accuracy of facility instrumentation.
- Supervise the work of contractors engaged on the site and ensure all Permits to Work are in place as appropriate.
- Fluency in English, both orally and written
- At least 3 years of equipment qualification experience with a technical qualification (electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent)
- May require working outside of normal working day to perform essential duties, responding to emergency conditions or to represent the Singapore site in global meetings (physical, teleconference or web-ex) relevant to the role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, internally and externally.
- Good IT knowledge.
- Ability to work as part of a team but also under own initiative.
