**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Site Assessment and Measurement**:Conduct accurate and precise measurements at customer sites to ensure furniture fits specified areas perfectly.
Analyze spaces to assess potential challenges and plan appropriate design solutions that align with customer expectations.
- **Material Selection**:Propose suitable materials for different types of furniture, considering factors like durability, aesthetics, cost, and environmental conditions.
Source high-quality materials that meet both the functional needs and style preferences of clients.
- **Furniture Fabrication**:Oversee and participate in the fabrication of custom furniture using a variety of machinery and tools.
Ensure all pieces are built to exact specifications and high-quality standards.
- **Machinery Operation**:Operate a range of woodworking machines and tools, including saws, planers, and CNC machines.
Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety in the production facility.
- **Quality Control and Compliance**:Implement quality control checks to ensure the final product meets the required standards and client specifications.
Adhere to safety and health regulations within the workshop and on-site during installations.
- **Team Leadership and Development**:Manage and lead a team of carpenters and other production staff, providing training and support as needed.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages skill enhancement and professional growth.
- **Client Interaction and Satisfaction**:Collaborate with clients to refine designs and confirm specifics throughout the production process.
Ensure client satisfaction with the final product through proactive communication and effective resolution of any issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking, with a specific focus on furniture making.
- Extensive knowledge of different materials and their appropriate use in various environmental conditions.
- Skilled in using and maintaining woodworking machinery and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing production teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in Carpentry, Woodworking, or a related field is preferred.
