We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team at Mr. Hainan, a Chinese restaurant. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in setting the tone for a positive dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave.
- Manage reservations and waiting lists using a digital or manual system.
- Escort guests to their table and present menu.
- Provide accurate wait time estimates when required.
- Answer the phone and respond to inquiries about the restaurant, menu, or hours.
- Coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
- Ensure all guests are accommodated in a friendly and efficient manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Polished appearance and professional demeanor.
- Able to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Familiar with reservation and point-of-sale systems is an asset.
