The Engineering Division conducts research and provides engineering services to the whole of DSO in the areas of digital and mixed
- signal electronics/microelectronics, radio frequency (RF), electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), antennas, as well as mechanical and thermal engineering.

Thermal R&D Engineer

In this role, you will:

- Conceptualize and optimize thermal management solutions for electronics and optical products
- Perform flow, heat transfer, thermodynamics analysis and simulations with computational software
- Perform mechanical design of ruggedized enclosure for electronic modules
- Oversee fabrication, assembly of mechanical parts and thermal management solutions including heat sinks, cold plates, fans and liquid manifolds
- Plan and conduct thermal and flow measurements to validate numerical simulations
- Plan and conduct lab environmental testing such as temperature, shock and vibration testing

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge in heat transfer and thermodynamics
- Basic proficiency in using thermal simulation software including FEA and CFD
- Basic proficiency in using mechanical CAD design tools
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
