The Engineering Division conducts research and provides engineering services to the whole of DSO in the areas of digital and mixed
- signal electronics/microelectronics, radio frequency (RF), electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), antennas, as well as mechanical and thermal engineering.

Power Engineer

In this role, you will:

- Be responsible for the delivery of wafers to DSO that meets the performance, schedule and quality requirements
- Be responsible for driving the R&D and improvement of the fabrication processes and technology
- Lead a team of about 5 staffs in the wafer fab R&D and operations
- Supervise the team in day to day operation in the fabrication line to ensure high quality of delivery
- Plan the schedule, material and manpower resources to accomplish the assigned tasks on time
- Design and plan the process run sheets to integrate the various process modules to achieve desired device characteristics
- Plan for the workflow of the various process modules to meet the delivery schedule
- Ensure that the process modules are executed according to the run sheet
- Document the wafer fabrication processes in accordance with the ISO standards
- Understand the requirements and co-develop a 6# GaN wafer fabrication process with a local foundry
- Identify failure mechanisms, debug and resolve any wafer fabrication process issues encountered in the fabrication line
- Drive technical and yield improvement for the current and next generation technology through research and development
- Participate in the development of long-term roadmap for III-V and III- Nitride technology
- Contribute to research reports for project deliverables, project proposal drafting and etc.
- Train the process engineers in the team to be competent in operating wafer fab equipment

**Requirements**:

- PhD / Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering /Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- At least 12 years of semiconductor product development experience (especially III-V and III-Nitride Materials and its Devices, HEMTs, LEDs, Lasers and etc.)
- Knowledge in Diamond related materials and its devices will be advantageous
- At least 5 years of direct people management experience in leading and developing teams
- Proven track record of innovation in the field of semiconductor device Physics/Engineering, Design of novel device structures, wafer fabrication and its characterization
- Experience with technology transfers and demonstrated history of innovation
- Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role within the organization
