The Emerging Systems Division focuses research and development on a broad spectrum of capabilities that are critical to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) defence systems. These include antenna design and electromagnetics, as well as next-wave technologies in the areas of lasers and advanced materials.

Electromagnetics R&D Engineer

In this role, you will:

- Develop new design methodologies for functional EM materials and structures utilising a suite of computational techniques and tools (e.g. Multiphysics, Machine Learning computational materials)

**Requirements**:

- PhD / Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Applied Physics or any related domains
- Knowledge in electrodynamics / electromagnetics
- Experience in designing of EM materials / structures such as meta-surfaces, radomes etc.
- Experience in the use of computational tools, such as Multiphysics, CEM tools (CST, HFSS etc.) and ML tools
- Knowledge in the design of active circuits
