**Job overview**:
The service engineer will provide the best and timely services to the customers to create a seamless experience and provide passionate customer orientation. The service engineer will take care of installation, commissioning, user training, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and annual maintenance contract services of ZwickRoell products. The service engineer will work independently, utilizing training and experience to determine the best course of action to provide the best solutions to satisfy the customers.

**Your tasks**:

- Installation, the commission of ZwickRoell Group (ZRG) make machines, instruments.
- Train the user of the machine with proper user training of handling the machine & software.
- Complete the FAT (Final Acceptance Testing) protocol after installation & commission.
- Timely submission of FAT & service report of installation to the customer support coordinators for warranty execution.
- Servicing of ZRG make machines and instruments at the customer sites.
- Performing regular maintenance visit for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) orders.
- Performing calibration as per calibrations jobs order from the customers within Asia.
- Timely submission of service reports, a service checklist to the customer support coordinator for invoicing to the customer.
- Remote & onsite warranty support of the installed machines and instruments.
- Remote & onsite breakdown support to the installed machines and instruments.
- Analysing faults, failures with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.
- Determining the nature and scope of fault, damage and advise the customer with the proper next actions for procuring spare parts or arranging warranty replacement parts in accordance with commercial considerations.
- Consult customers regularly for spares & consumables of the machines and instruments for smooth operations.
- Planning of customer visits in consultation with customer support coordinator.

**Work with Sales Partner**:

- Liaise and communicate with Sales Partners on service problem in their respective country
- Build rapport with Partners

- Constantly upgrade technical knowledge
- Document in-house spare part(s)
- Job requires travelling

**Your profile**:
**Education**:

- Diploma / Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical / Automation / Instrumentation / Mechatronics)

**Experience**:

- Min 3 to 5 years of experience in servicing of material testing machines and instruments.
- Working experience in measurement and analytical instruments or materials testing is preferred

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of Materials testing & Materials property
- Basic knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Experience in customer support activity of Materials Testing Machines
- Proficiency with PC software
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs
- Ability to work independently
- Goal-oriented and has a flexible approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willing to travel to attend to customer complaints
- Willing to undergo continuous re-training
- 50% - 70% travel requirement
