The responsibilities are below:

- Prepare the inspection & test plan (ITP) according to project requirement.
- Monitor the inspection & testing work in progress are according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as required.
- Supervise and manage coating and piping Insulation inspectors at jobsite and ensure that they comply to Occupational Health/Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Ensure and manage blasting, coating, and piping insulation construction activities meet and comply with the project specification, schedule, and safety requirements.
- Ensure surface preparation blast profile/cleanliness meet requirements.
- Ensure ambient conditions are acceptable for required process output.
- Regularly review on the contractors and sub-contractors quality/test reports are accordance to coating specifications, procedures, and plans.
- Competence in providing solutions on the defect works and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Support and monitor contractor and subcontractor for site surveillance & QA/QC activities.
- Ensure contractor and subcontractor have relevant, up-to-date Codes, Standards, Specs, and maintained all the documents according to ISO standard.

Work closely with project team, QA/QC and contractors to ensure the coating and insulation works completed timely and ready for handover Commissioning.

Qualification and experience preferred:

- Diploma or BSc degree in any structural steels, engineering, or other disciplines.
- Qualification to FROSIO III for insulation
- Qualification to FROSIO III or NACE CIP level III for
- Basic understanding of heat tracing qualifications and purposes.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience from shipyard, offshore projects within coating, piping and equipment insulation for offshore vessels, new building and repairing ships.
- Has demonstrated leadership skills on past projects
- Experience in passive fire protection installation and inspection is an advantage
- Strong experience in project management and coordination.
- Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Willing to commit overtime as and when is required.
