Marine Insulation Manager

This role involves overseeing insulation works for pipes, equipment, boilers, and vessels. The Marine Insulation Manager will be responsible for inspecting insulation surfaces to ensure uniformity, no gaps or voids, and verifying thickness.

  • Verify distance between bands and check moisture protection to prevent damage.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current regulations and standards.
About the Role

The Marine Insulation Manager will oversee a team of workers who apply insulating material to exposed surfaces. This includes coordinating with other workers, estimating necessary materials, and explaining new insulation techniques.

  • Maintain daily and weekly work records and report to higher officials.
  • Coordinate with Site Managers and Engineers for installation.
  • Monitor task progress and ensure compliance with approved IFC drawings and BISCI Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Witness and inspect field joint coating and insulation.
  • Monitor staff work assignments and ensure necessary materials are available.
  • Estimate and requisition necessary materials and supplies.
  • Explain new insulation techniques to workers and assign duties accordingly.
  • Prepare work permits and verify production reports and performance reports of workers.
