The Senior Director of Research and Insights will deliver research-based customer insights to help guide Crain brands with business decisions related to editorial, product and pricing, reader experience, marketing, events and sales strategies.

This role will also be responsible for custom research and insights to craft compelling, engaging reports on the key issues concerning our advertising partners.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, implement and deliver insights from survey-based research to help inform business decisions across brands and teams.
- Partner with the data and analytics team to combine research and data insights for a holistic view of customer needs and business opportunities.
- Partner with the testing and optimization team to create and support a testing pipeline.
- Build relationships and partner with executives and teams to socialize the value and correct use of research insights.
- Support marketing measurement and ROI evaluation.
- Conduct reader surveys for data gathering to support advertising business.
- Conduct research to support sales partnerships and revenue for the City Book publications. Partner with the Custom Content Lead to package the research.
