**About the Role**

As a **Vice President **, you will be integral to the APAC business development team based in Singapore. You will manage commercial opportunities from inspection through the final execution. In this client-facing role, you will originate new business opportunities, manage relationships with clients and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.

**Responsibilities**
- Sourcing of prospective clients (companies) and generation of deal flow
- Performing initial vetting (inc. calls/meetings with C-suite) of prospective clients
- Liaising between prospective clients and investment team to ensure smooth and effective due diligence and execution
- Upkeeping of full notation of business cycle progress on CRM
- Handling negotiations with prospective clients, together with the investment team

**Requirements**:

- 5-8 years experience at a top-tier financial institution: venture capital, private equity, corporate or investment banking, hedge fund
- Minimum 3 years experience in a client facing role: sales/origination / relationship management
- Demonstrable track record of originating and closing transactions
- Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Ability to understand financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)
- Fluent in English
- Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape - an advantage
- Experience in and understanding of deal flow activity in credit/debt funds - an advantage
