**Team Introduction**:
The SG Tax team is building to work with other corporate functions on tax advisory, planning, structuring, and tax controversy. We ensure compliance with direct (corporate income tax) and indirect tax (sales and use tax and property tax) and solve tax related issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support business team to perform tax assessment for new products, develop efficient and compliant tax solutions in the designated jurisdictions, as well as maintain the tax consistency among different jurisdictions for the same product in the group level.
- Coordinate closely with regional/country tax manager, to share latest business updates and develop specific tax solutions together with local team.
- Periodically review the business model and tax solutions for existing products in the group, and monitor the tax risk if exists.
- Monitor the change and update of tax legislation, identify potential tax impact and provide tax solutions to the business team in advance to ensure tax compliance. Providing tax training or tax updates to related business teams.
- Response to daily tax enquires from business team or clients, business partners.

**Qualifications**:

- More than 15 years working experience in international tax
- Ample experience in handling tax audits and formulating defense strategy
- International tax experience for cross-border transactions, and experience in management of direct tax (for instance PE compliance requirement, DST, etc.) and indirect taxes( VAT/GST/SUT) of the digital economy
- Rich experience in team building up and management, training talents for reserve to serve business needs
- Being able to conduct industry and business strategy studies, including industry practice, government policies, etc. in order to leverage the results of such studies in formulating tax strategies that can add value to business needs
- Being able to facilitate the design of tax internal control procedures from product and business perspective in line with the group's overall tax governance rules
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate tax technical issues to non-tax professionals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
