We are looking for Regional Business Unit Controller based at Singapore
Purpose of the job
The mission will be to provide the SET- Payment Services Business Unit with added value support and control on the Business
unit to drive it efficiently. Actively participate in daily business management of the business lines by providing financial support
such as key indicators, P&L overview and forecast, and project profitability.
This is a busy hands-on business support position that seeks a motivated individual who takes initiative in their work and has a
flexible ‘can do’ attitude to supporting multiple tasks. Experience in a similar role is essential
**Main responsibilities
- Assist and support the Payment and Service center Business Directors and their teams to define, implement and followup action plans, aiming at increasing the revenue, improving the profitability of the business, and lowering working capital
needs
- Provide the Region Business leads on a monthly basis a contributive actual and forecast P&L, with an analysis on
margins and operating expenses variances vs budget and ensure all risks and opportunities are clearly formalised,
documented and shared with the BU.
- Prepare and participate to the monthly Opcalls, Cash Calls, PS Business Reviews and Service Centre Operational
review.
- Drive cash generation, reducing overdues for the BU. Identify opportunities to improve cash collection ( payment
renewal, set cash collection target and follow up )
- Create and analyze all information for budget and 3YP (Value Creation Plan) ; manage the full process.
- Participate to investment roadmaps, help validate and implement associated business plans,
- Compute Half-yearly Variable Pay for Management and Sales population.
- Provide sound business support through risk assessment, financing requirements and profitability estimation for new
business opportunities (technical, commercial, strategic ) and advise management on the financial viability of every one
of them
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of the KPIs monitoring the performance of the Service centers (Actual, Budget and
Forecast)
- Analyze the cost structure and cost trend and propose any relevant cost improvement action
- Support Sales Excellence in reviewing bids, through analysis of the pricing and margins strategy. Tax issues, Legal
issues (legal entity to bid and Legal entity to Define, prepare, build and write reports, scorecards and procedures, relating
to any existing or new ad hoc or recurring processes aiming at supporting the Business and the Operations
- Review and escalate provisions requests to Corporate BU Financial Controller
- Promote existing Corporate and local policies and procedures towards managers and employees, and control
implementation and respect of these policies
**Experience & background
- At least 7 - 10 years in relevant roles
- Strong background and work in Finance
- Having experience with a multi-national firm or managing very large divisions
Technical skills
- Showing extensive finance or accounting experience
- Microsoft Dynamic, SAP B1 and TM1
- Financial modeling experience
