**Business Controller, APAC**

**Purpose of the role**

You will be responsible as a Business Partner to the APAC sub region and work with the sub-region Operating Companies to challenge and drive the strategic agenda and finance performance with insightful business performance analysis and implementation of finance excellence initiatives. This role will also drive the finance transformation/excellence in the APAC office.

**Responsibilities**
- Full Finance responsibility as Finance Manager of one of two APAC sub-region and finance support to respective APAC regional MD by:

- Challenge and partner the OpCo’s in the execution of their Strategic agenda items
- Business partnering support to OpCo Finance Directors and General Managers
- Ensure the ‘basics’ of financial operations are in place in all OpCos, including if applicable, BASE implementation
- Monitor financial projects and provide financial support (finance models, consolidation, review) for the APAC region
- Lead and deliver APAC finance excellence projects including digitalization by:

- Leveraging existing solutions for APAC improvements
- Progressing data analytics and the strategy to monetize insights, at scale

**Who we look for**
- Masters’ degree in e.g. Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics or Engineering
- Proven Business Partnering experience
- 10 years of working experience in the area of financial and business analyses within a large international company
- Experience in coordinating the reporting activities for a multi-location organization, especially APAC
- Experience in Management and analysis of complex data
- Ability to function as a matrix team leader, with excellent collaboration and interpersonal
- Able to work as an individual contributor to complete tasks
- A self-starter attitude and fueled by discipline to execute, with sense of ownership and accountability
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
