SharkNinja APAC is rapidly expanding our business, driven by strong innovation and unprecedented growth over the past 5 years. **As we continue to scale, we seek an APAC Finance Controller to join our HQ in Hong Kong or Singapore **. This role will play a pivotal part in establishing a robust controllership function to drive breakthrough results.

**Position Overview**:
The APAC Finance Controller will play a critical role in driving breakthrough results for Shark Ninja’s APAC operations by establishing a strong controllership team across the region. This role will **encompass all accounting & operational finance matters across intercompany and operating business units across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and other markets as the business expands. **This role will **encompass end to end contollership across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Tax compliance, Audit responsibilities, Statutory and Management Reporting. T **his is a regional role, and will need close coordination with the operational businesses, regional and local FP&A, regional tax & treasury, and group/ local auditors.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Build and lead a strong accounting & operational finance team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and innovation.
- Oversee AP, AR, Tax Compliance, Cash Management, Statutory & Management Reporting, to ensure high quality & efficient operations.
- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team, ensuring effective coordination across markets.

**System and Process Improvement**
- Lead Finance IT system interventions to consolidate ERP systems regionally, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
- Continuously explore and implement IT solutions to automate and streamline core finance processes.

**Working Capital Management**
- Establish KPUs and drive Working Capital Performance in partnership with senior leadership and commercial teams.
- Streamline data reporting to enable focus on data analysis & insights, contributing to results-driven decision making.

**Audit and Financial Compliance**
- Manage relationships with group and local auditors, ensuring timely and smooth execution of statutory requirements.
- Deliver accurate and high-quality financial statements to support seamless audits.

**Strategic Initiatives**
- Represent the accounting & operational finance team in key projects, ensuring right-first time set-up for market expansions and compliance-related projects.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years financial and cost management in the APAC region, with a **preference for experience in FMCG, Retail, or consumer goods.**:

- Proven leadership in managing and developing high-performing finance teams across diverse geographies.
- Strong knowledge of statutory reporting requirements for listed companies and IFRS. Big 4 audit experience with CPA or equivalent is preferred.
- Solid ERP experience especially Oracle Cloud ERP, and a track record of driving system and process improvements through technology.
- Excellent communication skills, with business proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Hands-on and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a strategic mindset and organizational leadership skills.
