Roles & Responsibilities

My client, an international underwater products manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Financial Controller based in Singapore to oversee the finances for their businesses in Singapore, China and Australia. Reporting directly in the Singapore MD and working closely with the CEO and CFO in Europe, as Financial Controller you will responsible for:

- Preparation of the monthly management accounts; including sales margin analysis, review of any variance to budget, and preparation of Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure the integrity of the financial statements by monthly, detailed reconciliations
- Support the quarterly sales forecasting and budgeting processes through the collation and analysis of consolidated regional data
- Preparation and production of the annual statutory accounts, in accordance with current local legislation and accounting standards
- Establish and maintain strong internal accounting controls and policies and procedures. This includes reviewing the processes used within the Company’s ERP system, CRM system, Microsoft Navision.
- Ad-hoc duties will apply

To be successful in the role you will be educated to degree level and be a fully qualified Accountant, either CA, ACCA or CIMA. You will have at least 5-years’ experience at FC level and have strong Management and Financial accounting experience with knowledge of both local and IFRS.
