**Responsibilities
1. General and commercial
- Is a member of the RBU leadership team. Advises the team on any financial matters as basis for decision support and strategic planning.
- Is a member of the Group Finance Leadership Team. Is responsible for the implementation of group wide financial initiatives in the respective RBU (e.g. Treasury, Tax, ITC, and Commercial).
- Offers advice on commercial terms and conditions for tenders and contracts for major projects as and when raised by RBU company and/or sales management in other countries.
- Challenges business and contributes to operational decision making by using financial data.
- Links strategic objectives of the RBU with the financial goals set.
- Leads and supervises the in-company FPA (financial planning analysts) in the respective RBU entities and coaches them in all aspects of financial controlling.
- Ensures that tax, financial and ITC matters are taken care of with the organizational structures for new companies or new division/departments for existing/restructured companies.
- Reviews commercial contracts and escalates to the Group Director Corporate and Legal Affairs as per policy.
2. Planning and Management Accounting
- Evaluates business decisions and projects with regards to the financial impact for the RBU or for local strategic projects.
- Assists the RBU leadership team in the roll out of operational initiatives.
- Leads and coordinates the forecasting and budgeting process for the respective RBU for the short and mid-term plans according to group and RBU requirements and timelines. Prepares and presents the financial assumptions and performance to the regional RBU leadership team and/or EB/CFO.
- Supports the RBU leadership team in setting financials goals and establishes a reporting against those.
- Helps in cost control and expense management and tracks performance against targets defined.
- Performs regular financial analysis, simulations and reports them proactively to the RBU leadership team and to Group finance.
- Proactively highlights, understands and flags financial challenges to the RBU leadership team and/or Group Finance as appropriate.
- Reviews areas for financial or process improvements, aligns them to Group requirements, defines actions for and manages implementation.
- Provides financial solutions to changed requirements in operation, policies, legal requirements etc.
3. Treasury
- Oversees and monitors together with local teams working capital (DSO, stocks, AP) and cash positions for entities.
- Coordinate with Group Treasurer to ensure proactive management of cash needs or cash overruns.
- Drives and implements Group treasury initiatives with regards to cash management, FX management, working capital development and financing of projects and business operations.
4. Reporting and Controls
- Manages the financial risk management of the RBU. Overseas compliance within the RBU, such as compliance to DoA and internal controls. Sets policies for the RBU if not covered by or deviate from JJ’s Group policies.
- Ensures timely implementation of Internal Audit findings in cooperation with respective company management and FPA.
- Develops and strengthens finance skills within the RBU.
- Provides financial consulting to Company Managers and Department Managers and facilitates knowledge sharing within the RBU and with other RBUs if applicable.
**Requirements
- Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- At least 10 years’ experience in a leading managerial position in controlling or similar function (corporate finance, business services) in a multi-national corporation, preferably with an industrial company with regional SEA/APAC experience.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, costing and business processes. Being able to build business plans (translating business initiative and strategies into numbers and vice versa) and establish tailor made and target driven management reporting.
- Experience in being a business partner to senior executive management (CEO/CFO/SVP/Regional CEO etc.).
- Strong leadership capabilities. Able to lead and work with an international and multicultural team on all levels.
- Able to drive and implement strategic projects and initiatives either from a corporate instruction into the business unit or from within the business unit.
- Experience in M&A projects and related tasks an advantage (due diligence, integration, etc.)
- Experience in restructuring, change management, organizational reviews and legal set-ups in the countries necessary.
- Excellent presentation skills (e.g. to top management, Boards)
- Good hands-on SAP and SAP BW / BPC knowledge and Microsoft Office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Flexible in terms of travelling and working times.
