**Responsibilities**

**OVERVIEW**
The Studio Associate is an essential member of the Technical Operations team who plays an integral part in CNBC Asia Pacific’s live TV news production. He/she will primarily operate studio robotic cameras, lighting and audio mixing in the studio and/or broadcast gallery.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Audio mix live to air and pre-recorded TV programs
- Operate robotic cameras, jib, lighting console and character generator
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Editorial team on news production related matters
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of studio equipment
- Be involved with the Operations team to ensure smooth output of daily live TV programming and recordings
- Perform any other tasks incidental to studio duties

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS- Relevant diploma and/or work experience
- Relevant technical experience in television broadcasting would be advantageous
- Knowledge of audio mixing for live TV production would be advantageous
- Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to multi-task when operating various equipment
- Meticulous, and have an eye for details
- Ability to think on the feet and react quickly to any crisis
- A team player who is able to work independently as well as work in a team effectively
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced live TV broadcast environment
- Flexibility to work shift hours and/or on public holidays
