We are a start up in the ESG space offering technology solutions and services to meet the pressing needs of the environment from EV battery solutions, accelerating electrification to carbon credits.
You will work closely with the CEO in all his company meetings and trips to be his official translator and advisor, translating from Japanese to English and vice versa. You will also work closely with the Company's staff to translate and voice over for business meetings and presentations.
- Facilitate effective communication between Singapore and Japanese HQ and entire organization.
- Attend and -facilitate the preparation for any external or internal conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussions for Management that requires any Japanese language translation.
- Prepare presentation (PowerPoint) for entire organization in Japanese & English for internal and external projects.
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy (for the Japanese Language)
- Ensure the translated content conveys original meaning, tone and well-expressed (Japanese & English)
**Requirements**:
1. Mastery in both English and Japanese to be able to translate business language
2. Be able to conduct live translation on the fly during presentations or meetings
3. Japanese language level N2 and above.
4. Love writing, meeting people and customer service
5. Able to multi-task, be resourceful, familiar and conversant in office productivity tools
