Job Responsibilities:
The main duty of the Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) is to implement and manage key performance indicators for assigned suppliers. The SPM will cover 3 segments; SPM for Industry (SIPM), SPM for Engineering (SEPM), SPM for Services (SSPM).

Continuous Improvement:

- Implement Thales best practices with assigned suppliers
- Responsible to deploy corrective and preventive action plans addressing to process, product, or alerts from various Thales operations organization.
- Act as a project manager to improve the overall interface between Thales and the Supplier, using lessons learned for the continuous improvement of both parties.
- Deploy relevant techniques including Six Sigma, DMAIC or Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and evaluate the potential failures of process, prioritize actions to alleviate risk in both Thales and Supplier activities.
- Participate in project/program to improve supplier performance and reduce Thales risk for business disruption.

Crisis Mode:

- In case of local supply chain crisis, leads the Task Force with cross functional team to implement recovery plan with suppliers.
- In case of Tiger Team at the Group level, SPM participate as contributor in the team.

Performance Reviews with Suppliers and reporting:

- Organize and conduct the suppliers’ performance reviews with the Category Buyer
- Monitor and report on a regularly basis the global performance action plan addressing two main topics: quality and punctuality
- Issue and Validate Supplier Key Performance Indicators

Relationships with the global SPM organization:

- Support Group initiatives in order to improve supplier performances for the Group
- Throughout his network, he contributes to the identification of weak signals in coordination with Industry, Engineering, Services, Quality and Procurement departments
- Contribute to the knowledge of the complete Supply Chain starting from the tier one supplier and identify the weaknesses
- May participate to the Thales IPCA Audit (Industrial Process Control Assessment) and support auditors for the closure of the findings

SPM Leader:

- In case of acting as a SPM leader is in charge of the management of performances for specific suppliers in behalf of the Group in close collaboration with the SPM, Global and Regional Procurement organization.

Job Requirements:

- Engineering degree with working experience in multi international company preferred.
- Good technical background in various disciplines such as Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical, Optronics linked to the Engineering, Operations and Quality.
- Able to travel within the regional (40% of the time depending on assigned suppliers location)

Technical skills:

- Project Management: organization, coordination, planning, reporting and risk management
- Problem solving: 8 D, PDCA (Plan Do Check Act), Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.
- FMEA: Engineering, process, products,
- Lean: adapted to design (Agile, Scrum...) and notions for Industry
- Good technical baggage sufficient for a broad understanding of the products and their characteristics
- ISO 9001 and AQAP standards and principles
- Notion of company’s organizations and systemic analysis

Soft skills:

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive results.
- Collaboration with diverse teams from different cultures and expertise.
- Pro-active, Promote teamwork, perseverance, resilience and results oriented.
- Respect ethics rules in accordance with the values of the Group
