**Overview of job**
GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for an Associate Manager, Commercial**to join us. You will be in constant communication and negotiating with business associates and shared service. In addition, you will continuously assist to improve the agencies/GroupM’s procedures, standards or policies while sticking to business edicts and regulatory guidelines.

**About the role**
- Oversee the media campaign reconciliation process, resolve discrepancies with media team if any and have media plans reconciled in media/accounting systems
- Support and collaborate with account management team in all areas interacting with the billing, collection and payment process, with a view to ensuring operational efficiency
- Manage month-end close activities, including the preparing of journal entries and reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Support monthly, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process.
- Preparation of internal and client reportings.
- Compliance: Supporting in Client, Financial and SOX audit documentation
- Ad-hoc duties
**A bit about yourself**:
- Degree/diploma in accounting
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Finance position
- Prior hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable/ Billing operations/ General Ledger for media industry an advantage
- Good numeracy and experience with the Google and Microsoft office suites
- Responsible, diligent and attentive to detail; follows through on queries and issues
- Analytical, meticulous with a positive attitude to work hard, good team player and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong communicator, comfortable in dealing with both internal and external parties, clients and suppliers
- Recognizes and resolves problems quickly and effectively
