**The Role**:
A Junior (Rigging) Technical Director will be responsible for designing, creating and maintaining highly accurate and efficient rigs for high end episodic animated series. They will work closely with Modelers and Animators to develop and refine rigs that meet the specific requirements of a pipeline.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide support to problem solve technical issues that arise in animation scenes
- Prototype, implement and refine puppet (skeleton), body (deformer and muscle based) or mechanical rigs
- Troubleshoot and fix rig issues, collect artistic feedback and fine tune rig behavior
- Become a proficient user and contributor of the extensive rigging tool-set
- Create tools to help animation workflow and rig interaction
- Work within the pipeline and rigging standards
- Meet delivery deadlines under production constraints

**Requirements**:

- Experience with Autodesk Maya
- Strong communication skills with emphasis on collaboration
- Self-motivated and mature attitude with strong discipline and work ethic
- Patience and problem-solving skills are essential
- Previous experience with Rigging is essential
- Knowledge of Python is advantageous
- Experience with Unity is advantageous
