**Regional Accountant, APAC**
You will be a trusted member of the Regional Finance team primarily responsible in the areas of financial analysis, reporting and costing on a regional APAC level working closely with the Regional Finance Manager. Apart from preparation of management reports, involvement in cross functional discussion, quarterly forecast, and annual budgeting exercise especially across high growth markets in APAC region, this individual will be able to participate in building initiatives and improving P&L analysis reporting to business stakeholders.

**The Position**:
APAC Financial Reporting:

- Responsible for performing financial analysis of income statement and operating expenses
- Responsible for collating input from Countries on “exceptions” to forecasted results
- Ensure compliance to International Accounting Standard (IAS) and Symrise Group policies requirements.

Regional Costing:

- Primary Contact on standard cost support & cost variance analysis (manufacturing variances / PPV) for the region
- Development of and reviews of cost analysis reports. Work with country finance heads to formulate corrective actions
- Responsible for standard raw material cost update and absorption rate review process in the region
- Responsible for the ongoing review and ensure compliance Symrise Group policies and regional guidelines on costing and inventory provision and adjustments.

Working Capital Management:

- Responsible for the preparation of the Business Free Cash Flow report and Inventory report on monthly basis for APAC region
- Develop and support reporting solutions using Inventory Cube (Business Intelligence tool for Inventory Reporting)
- Participate in the annual Inventory target setting process, including setting key performance indicators such as Days on hand (DOH), Inventory Aging percentage etc.

Lease Accounting (IAS 16 Lease Topics):

- Keep abreast with IAS changes and translate into actionable plans for implementation in APAC region with full compliance to IAS standards
- Serve as key Regional Finance resource for Global Lease Management tool and be a point of contact for APAC Finance team.
- Min Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA or its equivalent.
- Possess 3-5 years of accounting experience in a standard costing environment
- High energy team player with the ability to collaborate with others to achieve team goals and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyse and manage large data sets in excel and other query type databases
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details with positive teamwork spirit
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
