**Job Summary**:

- Provide an HSE framework to assist all Business Units in meeting their HSSEQ objectives.
- The creation of operational processes and procedures that align with corporate HSSEQ strategy and standards to provide a fully integrated management system is consistent with regulations and industry best practices.
- Facilitate a risk management process to ensure that our risks are identified, managed, and reduced to as low as reasonably practicable. Legal and other requirements, lessons learned, change management, contractor management, and operational risk are all evaluated.
- Provide counsel, guidance and direction to Business Unit leaders to adopt a conscious culture of managing health, safety, and the environment with a focus on adhering to best practices and international standards.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Assurance** Oversee, counsel, and guide stakeholders to drive ISO compliance by fostering collaborative partnerships, proactive engagement, and thorough reporting.
- **Operations Projects** Offer specialized guidance and leadership to proactively mitigate LAG incidents through effective processes and strategic direction.
- **Planning** Lead thorough system reviews for each project, ensuring alignment with objectives, vision, and mission, such as Local Management Plans.
- **Benchmarking** Execute HSE Success Factors derived from global industry benchmarks and researched improvement theories to enhance performance.
- **Reporting** Guarantee punctual and precise delivery of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, meticulously formatted, thoroughly reviewed, and error-free.
- **Core Business Processes** Enhance core SIPOC business processes by developing procedures aimed at improving time, cost, and quality aspects.
- **Policies, Standards, Procedures** Formulate comprehensive solutions to maintain the currency, review, and legibility of all documents within your purview.
- **Compliance** Assess HSE performance data, including internal and external reporting, and offer guidance and solutions for continuous improvement initiatives
- **Risk Management** Oversee the timely completion and auditing of Risk Registers, Management Systems, and Risk Assessments across all levels of the company.
- **Customer Satisfaction** Guarantee internal and external customer satisfaction by proficiently enhancing communication, service, and resolution procedures. Surpass client expectations to cultivate robust relationships and enhance the company's reputation.
- **Investigations** Ensure meticulous and precise completion of investigations, delivering factual solutions to address root causes or similar issues.
- **Contractor Management** Develop and implement standards and procedures for contractor/vendor HSEQ management to enable continuous performance evaluation.
- **Continuous Improvement** Lead the development and implementation of processes aimed at driving continuous improvements across all aspects of operations.
- **Competency & Capability** Develop and enhance the skills and capabilities of the HSSEQ Team and the wiser organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

**Qulification**
- Full Time Degree in Occuptional Heath and Safety from a recognised institution; or
- Full Time Degree (Associate) from a recognised institution plus 2-year Full Time Graduate Diploma in Ocucptional Health
- Full Time Degree (Associate) from a recognised institution and NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety & Human Resources or
- Full Time Degree (Associate) from a recognised institution and Chartered member of IOSH or similar industry body.
- Root Cause Analysis Faciliator Certification - ICAM, Taproot or Kelvintop Set
- Lead Auditor qualification for ISO accreditation framework e.g. 9001, 14001, 41000
- Training and Assessment qualification at Level 4 or Diploma of Training.
