Position Summary
To ensure legal compliance for all activities within assigned area of responsibility.
To ensure a safe and healthy work environment within assigned area of responsibility.
Responsible for: (The main job activities)
Ensure legal compliance for all activities within relevant regulatory framework and PaxOcean's HSE Management System
Support HSE Manager to implement and execute HSE Programs & Initiatives
Plan, conduct and participate in audits to identify potential areas of improvement and best practices.
Organise and conduct regular HSE site inspections with all relevant stakeholders and follow up on all identified non-conformances
Function as a safety assessor as per relevant regulatory requirements
Function as a Site Incident Controller (SIC) and lead the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) during emergency situations
To serve as secretary for the Vessel Safety Coordination Committee (VSCC) for all assigned projects
Initiate and conduct investigation for the purpose of identifying root causes upon any occurrences
Liaise with relevant authorities as point of contact representing PaxOcean
Any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by HSE Head
Job Requirements
Diploma / Degree in any Engineering field or related discipline
Hot work Assessor
Confined Space Assessor
Work at Height Assessor
Relevant emergency response certifications will be an added advantage
WSH Level C
Candidates without prior experience are encouraged to apply.
