**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the end to end design and development process - from given concept to launch
- Prepare moodboards, designs, sketches and technical packs for collection development
- Work closely with suppliers to manage timelines and ensure roll-out within target lead times
- Drive innovation through sourcing and R&D of new design and technical solutions
- Translate our brand mission of being adventurous, fashion forward and of good quality into creative designs
- Have a user-centric, thoughtful approach to gathering insights (through focus sessions and surveys) and solving for customer needs
- Understand our market, targeted customer personas, and good design principles through research and customer studies

**Requirements**:

- Solid technical knowledge when it comes to design, grading & construction
- Solid design knowledge, sensibilities and ability to translate concept into execution
- Strong project management sensibilities to work within target lead times
- A passion for the fitness industry and a good understanding of cheak’s mission
- An ability to problem solve through innovative thinking
- An agile mindset that can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Be an independent thinker and a strong team player
- Strong communication skills

**Qualifications & Experience**
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a Fashion Design / Technical Design role
- Previous experience in sports, performance clothing or activewear preferred
- An impressive portfolio which demonstrates creative, thoughtful design and technical know how
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin
