- about 4 hours agoWe are currently working with a global Data Centre Operator who has a significant presence in the APAC region to bring in a talented Construction Cost Accountant who is dependable and possesses a logical mindset, to work closely with the existing Finance team to support with multiple projects for key stakeholders and maintaining excellent communication. If you are successful in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an exciting, energetic team with a strong, open culture with a strong desire to grow aggressively, regionally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build monthly actual and forecast project cost reports and variance analysis for all existing projects
- Ensure actual construction costs align with forecasted expectations
- Lead Construction Administration (“CA”) of contracts
- QA/QC for project costs to date, cost coding, and monthly forecasts
- Provide technical accounting expertise on Fixed Assets and Leases under IFRS GAAP, including oversight of fixed assets and leasing issues/risks
- Manage Construction cost accounting operations
- Manage Construction cost reporting
- Manage Fixed assets accounting
- Analyse, initiate, and implement best practices and procedures in the CCF department.
- Advise senior management on any critical trends in relation to the financial performance of the company
- Promote a strong culture of cooperation within the team

**Key Requirements**:

- Degree / diploma in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field
- 4+ years fixed assets accounting experience required
- Good technical knowledge in accounting standards (IFRS and USGAAP)
- Knowledge of general APAC tax and experience in multi-currency and multiple company environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many simultaneous priorities from time to time
- Skilled at using various ERP and with technology in general
- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager, preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Procore, preferred but not required
- Data center, real estate, or construction industry experience, preferred but not required
