**What the role is**

You will be driving cross cutting work in the Technology, Innovation and Deployment team in the development of policies and research into climate change issues of strategic importance. For some initiatives that are more complex, you may lead a team to develop and execute the initiatives. These efforts will support Singapore’s national strategy to address climate change and realise our vision to be a climate resilient global city that is well-positioned for green growth.

**What you will be working on**
- Identify and analyse future trends and strategic issues on climate change and energy to determine the implications on Singapore’s climate change strategy and policies.
- Develop economic and technology models to understand the impact of climate change policies
- Work with stakeholders such as academia, private sector and government agencies, to identify and develop relevant strategies and technologies to address Singapore’s energy and climate challenges. Work with relevant agencies to tap on the economic opportunities that arise from developing these technologies.

**What we are looking for**
- Public sector experience in a strategy or policy analysis role would be an advantage
- Strong power of analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to motivate and seek collaboration with partner agencies
- Good team player
- Knowledge of programming is a plus
