- Our client is a regional venture capital firm that focus on healthcare and biotechnology sector. Their investors are institutional investors and family offices. They are setting up their presence in Singapore and looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer.Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the firm’s overall finance, corporate and fund accounting, treasury, tax and operations functions
- Plan and build the overall finance and accounting, operational system for the firm
- Manage the finance and operations function for the fund management company and funds under management
- Collaborate with the senior management to provide them financial and operational analysis for the firm’s business and strategic growth
- Oversee the preparation of investor reporting and enquiries
- Ensure end-to-end finance support for the fund and underlying investment portfolio
- Monitor outsourced service providers such as audit, tax agents etc
- Collaborate with invested portfolio companies to provide them support from accounting and finance when necessary

Key requirements
- Minimum 8 years of Finance and Accounting experience in fund management industry, exposure to Venture Capital funds/Private Equity funds is an advantage
- Experience in supervising team members and setting up finance/accounting process
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other accounting qualifications
- Multi-jurisdictional experience in Asia and the U.S. is an advantage
- Good understanding in regulatory requirements and market trends
- Detailed-oriented, strategic, motivated
- Flexibility to work in a small-office environment
- Good communication and presentation skills
