IFF is seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Scent Technology & Innovation (ST&I) Singapore team as Scientist.

**Your Focus**
As Scientist you will be involved in running technical projects for the Home, Fabric and Personal care category. Your role includes internal creative support for fragrance stability and performance in different product formats.

The role would require you to thoroughly implement fragrance understanding and knowledge investigate fragrance technical and stability issues that satisfy consumers’ needs.

Our ambition is to exceed our customer’s technical expectations when introducing new products and formulations, to ensure that IFF is seen as the most technically innovative Fragrance house.

**How you will contribute**
- Contribute to technical project teams, providing data and lab support in the area of technical issues related to formulation, interactions of fragrances/technologies with the bases.
- Organize and evaluate stability samples for different objectives.
- Conduct experimentations using technologies related to fragrance performance improvement.
- Management of projects and specific stability tasks to ensure timely delivery or request.
- Technical understanding of fragrance formulations and their stability in different product bases
- Troubleshooting fragrance instability issues and support design performing fragrances.
- Conducts orientation/induction of on-boarding Scent design managers, Scent Technology & Innovation scientists on topics related to fragrance formulations, their performance and product stability.
- Retrieve tasks in project management tools for Technical Workbench (TWB) and leading the workstream.
- Key-in stability evaluation data/special tests and keep proper documentation of stability evaluation records
- Communicate with SDM & technical partner any stability issue encountered for fast & efficient action.

**Job Requirements**:

- What you will need to be successful- Master’s or Bachelor Degree in Science & Technology, Chemistry or any other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 year’s experience in the Consumer Goods or Ingredients Chemical industry.
- Technical projects management, technical formulation and development or fragrance industry experience
- Good knowledge of safety for technical laboratories.
- Good Olfactory ability.
- Comfortable working in a B2B environment with a positive, self-driven or results oriented attitude.
- Strong teamwork, customer orientation, project management, effective time management skills with proven ability to oversee all assigned projects and meeting deadlines
- Curious, knowledgably, creative mindset, someone who applies knowledge creatively and intelligently to the solution of problems
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Dynamic and proactive, interest on problem solving.
- Results driven and agile in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong data analysis capability for interpretation of results
