We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Supply Chain Planner **to join our team.
As a Supply Chain Planner, your primary responsibility will be to effectively plan and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient order planning, and improve cash flow.
You will play a crucial role in analyzing sales trends and product demand with marketing director to enhance accuracy and optimize inventory management.
This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and coordinate the procurement of materials and products to meet demand (orders form Singapore retail, e-com and worldwide distributor) and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to accurately forecast demand, identify potential risks or opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Business developer, Marketing, and Production, to gather relevant information for demand planning and order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Make sure we have optimized price where our volume growth and we have alternative suppliers in order not to expose the company, working closely with our procurement manager.
- Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and customer demands to avoid overstocking.
- Implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize carrying costs, reduce stockouts, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Generate and analyze reports on key supply chain metrics, such as inventory turns, fill rates, and lead times, to identify areas for improvement and **make data-driven decisions **.
- Continuously improve forecasting accuracy by refining demand planning models, incorporating market insights, and **evaluating historical data.**:
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to manage cash flow and ensure inventory investments are aligned with business goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, supply chain best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the supply chain function.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning (at least 5 years), demand forecasting, and inventory management.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and able to work with complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Knowledge of supply chain software and systems (e.g., ERP, demand planning tools) is a plus.
- Familiarity with fragrance or consumer goods industry is preferred, but not required.
