**Manager, HR Shared Services (SEA & OCEANIA)**

We are tasked by our Client, a multinational retail group on **confidential search **for a strong HR talent as their **Manager, HR Shared Services **( **SEA & Oceania) **covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Guam and Philippines as well as any expansion plans.

**The Role**

The regional HRSS Manager is responsible to lead the HR shared services, as part of HR transformation and digitization journey. The role will lead a team of HR professionals in support of HR core areas namely HR, Payroll, Employee support and Time & Attendance. This shall be managed in accordance with local laws & legislations for the SEA & Oceania region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and drive integrated HR workflow through HR Operations

team in executing core HR operations processes in support of

employees’ life cycle i.e. Hiring and onboarding, Job changes,

Compensation & benefits changes (insurance renewals), OTP,

Self-service, monitor Work authorizations,

Termination/offboarding, document storage & Compliance.
- Lead and coach the Payroll team leads to ensure timely and

accurate payroll processing, payroll closure, payroll reporting

and process reconciliations for SEA & Oceania, in compliance

with local law and legislations.
- Oversee, support and coach Project lead to meet/exceed the

work deliverables on HR systems, integration work and

digitalization projects.
- Collaborating and interface with local/regional HR to drive

continuous improvements on service delivery, in particular the

key performance indicators so as to achieve best in class service

quality:

- Drive process & performance improvements & efficiency in

terms of service coverage, responsibilities, quality and process

adherence;
- Continuous improvement in interaction & communication in

terms of interaction mechanism, communication flow, customer

centric culture and perception.
- Improved governance and reporting: regular checks and

keeping abreast with changing laws and legislation in payroll,

pension and income tax related topics.
- Support employee relations in timely completion of regulatory

filings and specific regulatory inquiries.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Key Requirements**
- Degree in Information Systems/Management, Organization behaviour/HR or its equivalent.
- Min. 8 years in hands-on HR Operations/Shared Services management.
- Good understanding of regional payroll / Shared services model, system interface and process improvements. Preferably with working knowledge in Workday and global payroll software.
- Good organization and logical with a strong service mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholders’ management skills
- Driven, pro-active in solutions-based problem solving
- Independent, able to work under tight schedule
