Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Communications and Marketing Senior Manager with substantial management experiences to build the TLA brand. The role involves developing and executing the organisation’s communications and marketing strategy to enhance the firm’s brand and support portfolio companies.

**About the Job**

**Brand Management**
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications and marketing strategies that align with the firm's objectives and enhance its brand presence in the life sciences industry.
- Create and manage compelling content for various platforms, including website, social media, press releases, presentations, and other marketing collateral, and drive interest in TLA’s activities and investments.
- Work closely with internal teams, including investments and project management teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels.
- Measure and report effectiveness of communication and marketing initiatives, provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Publicity, Outreach and Media Engagement**
- Coordinate media-related activities, including drafting press releases, talking points, media factsheets, media pitching and cultivating relationships with journalists and industry influencers.
- Drive partnerships and projects, and engage stakeholders across the life sciences ecosystem, including Institutes of Higher Learnings (IHLs), government bodies, etc.
- Analyse industry and market trends, competitor insights, and media coverage to identify opportunities for strategic positioning and messaging to drive engagement.

**Portfolio Support**
- Support portfolio companies in developing and executing communication and marketing strategies, including press releases, brand materials where necessary.
- Develop strategies for the sales of products, including, but not limited to, product positioning and messaging, market analysis and brand awareness, etc.

**Events Management**
- Planning and coordinate events, such as exhibitions, webinars, symposiums, etc.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing or equivalent with at least **8 years** of strong, relevant experience.
- Skilled in managing and curating social media content to drive engagement.
- Excellent communication abilities, team-working qualities and writing skills, and a strong focus on delivery.
- Astute, resourceful and possess strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Established in 2016, TLA is a joint venture between Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory and Vertex Holdings. TLA combines their expertise to drive advancements in Agri-Food Technology, Industrial & Synthetic Biology, as well as Human & Veterinary Sciences sectors.

TLA is also a licensed venture capital fund manager that has the capacity to make pre-seed, seed and series A investments through The Life Sciences Innovation Fund (TLIF), furthering bolstering its commitment to nurture promising ventures within the life sciences sector.

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month

- Corporate Communications: 5 years (preferred)
