Senior Manager, Volunteer Resource Optimisation

**What the role is**
- 1. This position develops, pilots, and executes initiatives to catalyse meaningful volunteerism between social service agencies and volunteers, to nurture a caring and inclusive society under the SG Cares movement. 2. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, the role seeks to enhance social service agencies’ organisational capacity & capabilities in their volunteer management function.
**What you will be working on**
- Key Responsibilities and Activities: 1. Research, strategize and pilot initiatives to build sector leaders in volunteer management. 2. Engage social service agencies and key stakeholders in the volunteerism ecosystem to curate new sectoral volunteer management resources (e.g., Skills Based Volunteer Partnership Framework) as reference guide to tackle emerging volunteering trends. 3. Strengthen social service agencies’ volunteer management function through process improvement (e.g., Volunteer Role Redesign, Volunteer Continuity Planning) which is in alignment with the volunteer management framework and taking into consideration of the change management process within an organisation. 4. Organise networking and engagement events for volunteer management practitioners to share good practices and influence volunteer management function in the sector. 5. Any other duties as assigned.
**What we are looking for**
- Personal Competencies: - Strong analytical and planning skills - Strong problem-solving and innovative skills - Good interpersonal and communication (writing and presentation) skills Skills & Knowledge: - Stakeholder Engagement - Project Management - Organisation Development or Human Resource Management (preferred) Experience: - At least 5 years of relevant working experience, including pioneering work - Volunteering, volunteer management and/or non-profit working experience (preferred)
