Coordinator, Air Freight Export Operation Service

**Purpose of Position**

Execute air export activities relative to operational documentation, commercial billings and forge partnerships with inter-department functions

**Key Tasks**
- Execute Air Export Operational Tasks
- Ensure correct and accurate execution of export document processes:

- Master Airway bills (MAWB’s), House Airway bills (HAWB’s), Cargo Manifest etc
- Verify cargo details (weighing slip, commercial invoice and packing list) before processing documents.
- Ensure Distribution List, Shipper & Consignee, Incoterm, Airport of Destination etc
- Ensure close communications and strong partnerships with inter-department functions such as LCM, CS, Warehouse and Vendors.
- Execute administrative tasks as per SOP/Instruction. Example: Save all related shipping documents to e-Docs, printing of labels where required etc.
- Send timely pre-advice for consolidated shipments to the relevant parties, eg. customers, destination offices.
- Ensure that all export cargoes are lodged in timely.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for urgent transfer / Build Up Pallets (BUP) shipments to Carriers.
- Adjust Chargeable weights to optimize cost where required.
- Proper checking on the shipping documents in accordance to Dangerous Goods Regulations and DG Checklist (DGR).
- Sorting, distributing and mailing of documents, including filing of MAWB’s and HAWB’s daily to prevent any backlog in administrative processes.
- Adherence to all customer specific SOPs and relevant standard process / procedure.
- Standby duty for urgent adhoc after office hour shipments. Perform from start to finish; ie booking with airlines, pick-up arrangements, closing of MAWB till cargo lodged in and accepted by Terminal. Ensure that pre-alert is sent once shipment arrangement is complete.
- House Keeping of Documents; Example: Tidy workplace where documents are kept, disposed and arranged in a neat and organized manner to ensure an effective work place.
- Permit Accuracy and On-time Permit Submission
- Coordinate with Customs Clearance Team for Outward Permit.
- Check permits against shipping document to ensure correct data declared and meeting AED - Advance Export Declaration prior departure of shipment.
- Billing Accuracy and On-time Billing Submission
- To ensure On-time billing for collect shipments and profit share to destination office and/or agent.
- Adherence to the **Code of Conduct policy of the DSV Group**:

**Experience & Education**
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
- At least 1 year of relevant airfreight export experience
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations is advantageous
- Able to work on rotating shifts
- Entry level who are willing to learn are welcomed to apply
