Our client is a boutique public accounting firm located in the CBD area, they are now looking for an Associate with the following qualities:

- Self-starter
- Accountable, initiative, positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Managers in handling a portfolio of clients, consisting of private companies and foreign companies, in the areas of:

- Handle/Review full set of accounts
- Review/Prepare payments
- Review/Preparation of Quarterly GST
- Preparation of financial schedules (General ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments) to achieve monthly timely closing of accounts
- Preparation of payroll (monthly CPF contribution, IR8A tax submission)
- Liaise with Auditors & Tax agents
- Provide Company Secretarial support
- prepare Directors' and Shareholders' resolutions, update and maintain the statutory registers and clients' records in database
- Other ad-hoc projects and activities assigned

**Requirements**:

- ACCA/Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent qualification or 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Good work ethic, initiative, keen to learn new things and acquire new knowledge
- Professional character and possess good etiquette
