MacDermid Graphics Solutions is a supplier of consumable materials used to transfer images on to consumer packaging materials, our products are used to improve print quality and printing productivity. We produce and market photopolymers through an extensive line of flexographic plates that are used in the consumer packaging and printing industries. Photopolymers are molecules that change properties upon exposure to light.

**Job Purpose**:

- The skills required for this position include plate production/plate evaluation, process audit, analysis of printed materials and plate samples, process troubleshooting, quality issue handling, and plate troubleshooting on different MacDermid customer printing machines.
- Proactive self motivator who can work closely with customers, on-site service, and sales personnel, and be able to work independently to ensure that the benefits of customers and MGS are realized, while also helping to promote MacDermid's products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plate process review
- Provide technical and sales support for MGS products
- Provide technical support for solvent and thermal plate making processes
- Operating knowledge of CDI equipment for flexography
- Knowledge of how to use plate measuring instruments and other prepress equipment
- Good English communication skills
- Frequent business trips are required
- Electrical/mechanical skills and PLC knowledge will be an added advantage

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- 6 to 10 years relevant working experience in flexo-printing industry is preferred
- Ability to communicate in fluent English speaking and writing.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Relevant industry
