**About this role**
The Pursuits & Bids Manager will oversee the pursuit and bid support needs in Singapore. You will provide professional support for Arup’s work winning activities in the development and management of pursuits and bids. You will be a member of the Go to Market team spanning Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Indonesia. In this role will also coordinate and input to pursuits, develop bids with proposal teams and support clients-specific business activites.

**What will I do?**
- Proactively manage multiple specific tender processes of varying scale and complexity, including bid scheduling, compliance, and document production, having full accountability for bid coordination to achieve sophisticated, consistent, and highly focused bids and offers.
- Analyse available metrics, particularly win rate and bid cost, contributing knowledge to improve operations.
- Gain understanding the local industry, markets, clients and competitors to provide informed bid support.
- Consult on and facilitate win strategy - identify win themes, lead discussion, create compelling messages, then guide teams to execute the strategy, liaising with technical writers and reviewers to embed winning strategy in our offer. You will also devlop bid content.
- Liaise with technical teams, schedulers, project managers and other contributors for timely receipt of information required to meet internal and external (client) deadlines and priorities.

**What will I bring?**
- Strong bidding track record and ability to interpret briefs to meet compliance and content requirements, with experience in development and production of client-centric tenders, expressions of interest, proposals, client-centric pitches, and presentations.
- A university degree with at least 10 years of extensive experience in guiding pursuit planning activities within professional consultancy using a strategic mindset.
- Strong in writing, editing, and proofing skills, including persuasive writing techniques (English).
- Relationship building skills and the ability to influence network with internal parties as it relates to bidding and winning work
- Able to undertake information management and research activities as they relate to bidding and business development.
