- Assist in handling, administrating and coordinating entity/centre centric purchasing requests for technical teams.
- Maintain good internal controls and governance in accordance to A.STAR Procurement Policy and Procedures.
- Manage documents and Standard Operating Procedures in the central online database
- Assist with auditing and non-compliance reports
- Continual improvement of existing processes and documentation to improve operational efficiency
- Organize and provide training to stakeholders as required
- Assist in general administrative and management support
- Streamlining of S&A efforts for procurement practices

Job requirements
- Diploma or bachelor in procurement, logistics or related field is preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in technical purchasing related work.
- Relevant technical purchasing experience with technical background to understand and communicate with researchers and engineers and able to interface between shared services procurement and finance
- Familiar with Government Procurement Policy will be an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Meticulous and able to work well as part of a team, yet able to work independently
