1. Supervise, coordinate and participate in the activities of kitchen staff engaged in the proper cleaning, hygiene, recipe and standard cooking method set by the Executive Chef.

2. Check daily work routine or other forecasts to determine the quality and quantity of food need to prepare.

3. Prepare requisition of food items based on daily consumption, observe and test food being cooked as to meet the standard.

4. Check for correct portioning and good presentation of food before allowing for pick-up.

5. Supervises the cleaning of refrigerators, cold rooms and kitchen premises in accordance with schedules or as when necessary.

6. Check the buffet spread and others that required replenishment and ensures that sufficient quantity of food is available during stipulated meal serving hours.

7. Checks all equipment belonging to his kitchen and make sure that all are in good working order, and if necessary reports to the Chef for any faults and problems to be solved. Prepares the necessary work orders to the Engineering department.

8. Learn to Take Charge and hold full responsibility in participate kitchen activities.

9. Prepare food item by using recipes and instruction according to the sous chef on duty

10. Guides the basic food hygiene on discrepancy mistake and makes recommendations on improvement

11. Helping other section when is busy and perform other duties as directed.

12. Performs other duties as assigned by the Management.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or certification in **Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or a related field**.
- At least **2-4 years** of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel.
- Strong understanding of **ingredient handling and cooking methods.**:

- Knowledge of **HACCP, SFA (Singapore Food Agency) regulations**, and kitchen cleanliness.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per month
