Singapore MHA - Singapore Prison Service (SPS) Full time

**What the role is**
- Assist in the development, validation, and maintenance of predictive models for SPS operations and supports the redevelopment of SPS data infrastructures.

**What you will be working on**
- Predictive & Analysis Work:

- Extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis
- Generate insights from visualisations of big data
- Analyse data using intermediate statistical techniques (e.g., regression), develop and validate statistical models

Redevelopment of SPS Data Infrastructure:

- Onboard SPS to MHA Enterprise Visualisation Platform
- Onboard SPS to MHA Business Analytics Hub
- Completion of SPS wide data CONOPS
- Any other duties as assigned by D&A

The Senior Executive/Executive supports D&A Infonomics’ core work and workplan deliverables to develop, validate, and maintenance of predictive models for SPS operations and assists in the redevelopment of SPS data infrastructures.

**What we are looking for**
- Minimum of Honors degree in Statistics/Data Science/Psychological Science/Psychometrics from a recognized university
- Experience with Excel functions and charts
- Knowledge of computational mathematics/statistics (experience with writing functions in R/Python preferred)
- Knowledge of data systems and data migration process an advantage
- Understanding of regression and one or more of the following concepts (e.g., survival analysis, sample size calculation, chi square and receiver operating characteristics etc.)
- Good writing, analytical and communication skills
- Preferably with 1 year of relevant work experience in a correctional or criminology related field
