**Job Descriptions
1. Reporting Structure
- Reports to Sports Development Manager or person(s) assigned by General Manager / Chief Executive Officer and to carry out all roles & responsibilities in consultation with the reporting officer.

2. Tournaments & Events
- To assist/provide support for all SBA-organised and SBA-sanction tournaments/events.
- To liaise with all key stakeholders and personnel on matters pertaining to tournaments, ie. Prioritization of entries, ranking of entries in main draw/qualifying draws, appropriate draw date(s) /seeding date for tournament etc
- Manage all sanction tournaments. To work with tournament referee and all sanction tournament organizers in preparation of publication documents, ie. Players’ entries, seeding report, ranking points, post event reports etc.
- To ensure smooth operations of events including logistics and manpower arrangement (ie. Venue cleaning, security, venue dressing, volunteers, court officials, etc)
- To ensure all setups and teardowns in venue and on field of play are appropriately managed.
- Any other logistics or operations activities required for the smooth running of the tournament.

3. High Participation
- To promote the sport by organizing badminton programme/event in the community/school.
- To work with external stakeholders including coaches, ActiveSG, PA, MOE, etc to manage the Badminton Academy programme and Badminton Promotion Centre.
- To develop and implement National Grading System.
- Work closely with Marketing & Communications Manager on the marketing & communication of development programmes, tournaments, and other events.

4. Court officials (Referees / Umpires/ Line-Judges)
- Implement and manage court officials’ policies (i.e. policies on overseas exchange, funding, accreditation etc)
- Management of all court officials and their assignments.
- Plan and execute courses for officials, ie. National referee courses, umpire courses, line judge courses and refresher courses.
- Manage and update records and data of referees, umpires and line-judges.
- Liaise with BWF / BAC on nomination of umpires for exchange programme, upgrading opportunities and overseas officiating duties.
- Deployment of officials for local tournaments and maintenance of their records of work.
- Formulate recruitment strategies to recruit new and young court officials.

5. Other Duties
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting officer or the General Manager / Chief Executive Officer.
