Our Business Development Representatives generate business opportunities by driving interest in Liferay’s products and building our brand in the South East Asian market and other territories as assigned.
They contribute to building sales, brand awareness and revenue by gaining customers' initial interest while qualifying leads for our Sales Executives. This Inside Sales Representative appointment will support and contribute to the growth in our South East Asian market.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Creating and raising Liferay brand awareness across the South East Asian and other territories as assigned
- Develop intimate knowledge of our software products and their value propositions
- Sourcing and identifying new business opportunities through a range of mediums such as; LinkedIn, Salesforce, DiscoverOrg, target marketing campaigns, referrals etc.
- Proactively contact potential customers to drive awareness, educate and inform about our products relevant to their needs
- Building a sales lead pipeline to support and enable sales executives.
- Conduct high-level conversations with Senior C-level Executives in prospect customer opportunities
- Collaborating with Sales and Marketing leadership on continued improvements of marketing messaging, lead quality and conversion to sales opportunities
- Achieve monthly/quarterly targets of defined activities and lead generations for our Sales funnel
- Collaborate with channel partners to identify opportunities
- Learn and use sales processes to maintain your sales standards at the highest level
- Support with scheduling sales leads appointments
- In addition to the above, help identify potential opportunities with existing customers and accounts
- Any duties required as the role evolves
**Requirements / Skill preferences**:
- Working with enterprise and cloud based products
- Ability to work across several computer platforms, systems, and online tools essential
- A background within a high volume (sales/targets/activity) sales environment preferable
- Attention to detail and maintaining accurate information in Salesforce
- High energy, motivation and self driven are core attributes
- Excellent communication skills and able to adapt to their target audience
- Experience within the industry is advantageous although not essential.
- 2+ years relevant sales development experience (preferred)
- Prior experience in demand generation for B2B software
- Proven creative thinker who has generated and executed innovative marketing ideas for integrated campaigns
- Ability to understand messaging and content needs for both technical and business audiences
