**Job Description**:
Italian restaurant hiring executive chef in Singapore

Job Responsibilities:
posses a deep and clear understanding of Italian food history, tradition and culture.
- Able to communicate in Italian language with customers is a bonus
- Make periodic and regular inspections of units to observe quality of food preparation and service, food appearance, cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas, equipment, and employee appearance
- Develop recipes for new dishes exercising creativity yet complying to cost control effectiveness and outlet profitability.

Direct and supervise the preparation and production of all dishes and ensure that they are in compliance with the prescribed recipes and specifications.
- Undertake regular checks on the quality of all food items and recommended improvement when necessary
- Frequently review finished products for quality and presentation before the orders are send to guest.
- Develop a presence in your designated restaurant, meeting and greeting guests to obtain feedback on food quality, presentation and service levels.
- Actively involves in menu development. Maintaining and prepare recipes of new items for costing and verify accurate costing analysis of all dishes prepared
- Discuss daily food cost reports. Review weekly and monthly schedules to meet forecast and operating budgets
- Ensure proper purchasing, receiving and food storage standards in the kitchen. Recognizes superior quality products, presentations and flavor.
- To provide ongoing training to staff and develop and implement all service and kitchen guidelines and ensure its compliance by all staff.
- Plan activities, promotions, and menu implementations according to the annual marketing plans.
- Be constantly aware of customer's expectation and ever changing needs.
- Creates emotion, surprise and pleasure for each of our guests through attention to detail and a passion for excellence.
- Lead by example and take initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and productive, call the General Manager if difficulties cannot be addressed through empowerment.
- Treat guests andncultural groups with respect, sensitivity and transparency

Job Requirements:

- At least 5 years relevant experience in Italian cuisine

- Have good organizing, supervising and time management skills to be able to oversee all the activities that take place in the kitchen in a proper manner

- Strong leadership and passion are the keys to succeed in this role.
- Must present a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Able to work split shift, weekends and public holidays.
- Capable of delegating multiple tasks
- Maintains openness and willingness to learn new techniques and improve abilities.
