**About the Opportunity**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and assemble a variety of traditional Italian sandwiches with precision and consistency.
- Curate and manage a high-quality selection of meats, cheeses, condiments, and breads (with a focus on Italian imports and artisan suppliers).
- Innovate and adapt sandwich offerings to suit local tastes while preserving authentic Italian techniques.
- Oversee kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and quality control.
- Collaborate on menu development and potential store concept or brand identity.
- Assist in sourcing, costing, and vendor relationships.
- Contribute ideas to marketing, events, and customer engagement efforts.
- Work closely with founders/investors toward launching a new food concept.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a sandwich chef or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of Italian ingredients and sandwich traditions (e.g. All’Antico Vinaio style, or regional specialties from Florence, Milan, or Sicily).
- Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for Italian food culture and entrepreneurial mindset.
