Quantified Energy Labs is a fast growing deep-tech startup from Singapore offering end-to-end aerial digital solutions for solar photovoltaic (PV) asset lifecycle management.

Our drone system is equipped with advanced payload, sensors, and autonomous control algorithms to provide consistent and fast inspection service. We have completed the world-first and largest drone electroluminescence (EL) inspection in 2 weeks This is made possible with the highly integrated hardware and software (deployed on drone onboard PC, drone RC, and ground personnel’s phone) that we developed. We are currently expanding globally and looking for talented enthusiastic individual to join us.

You will join us as the core team member and work in the software engineering team. This position reports directly to our CTO and will be involved in next generation product definition, development, prototype, testing, and production release.

What you will do:

- Understand and learn the existing QE-Labs’ suite of software
- Assist in the migration of the current drone and payload software system to next generation system, ensuring the compatibility on both the hardware and software
- Program microcontroller to communicate and control various hardware
- Work with end user to integrate feedback into future technology direction and deliverables

What we value:

- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- 3+ years’ experience in directly applicable work
- Proficient in following programming language: C++, C
- Experience with software development under Windows and Linux environments
- Ability to work hands-on with electro-mechanical systems including soldering, assembly, disassembly, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience with microcontrollers such as STM32, Arduino and embedded peripherals (USB, SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills including the ability to explain technical matters to a nontechnical audience
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise
- Desire to keep learning
