JOB PURPOSE
To plan, manage and effectively implement overseas humanitarian events and projects undertaken by the Global Engagement (GE) Department of Singapore Red Cross Society
- Gain an in-depth understanding of their Bloodmobile Organiser (BMO) portfolios, including identifying past collection trends and collaboration histories
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders promote blood donation and organise blood drives in the community
- Undertake outreach and engagement activities towards expanding the partner base, including conducting educational talks in schools, community organisations, etc
- Serve as the focal point for all public enquiries and represent Blood Donor Programme (BDP) and/or the Singapore Red Cross at public and external events as required
- Co-lead BDP’s volunteer programme, including recruiting, engaging, mobilising and managing our volunteer pool
- Conduct relevant training to volunteers on blood donor recruitment and servicing
- Engage BDP’s community partners towards developing a viable volunteer pool (especially skilled volunteers) from their employees/membership base
- Undertake relevant administrative tasks, including but not limited to creating and maintaining volunteer and blood-drive records, developing and updating SOPs and educational collateral, undertaking quarterly and annual reporting and audit tasks, etc

JOB SCOPE

**Operations**
- Monitor and track the progress of various overseas reconstruction projects undertaken by the Society.
- Coordination of overseas disaster response operations
- Hosting of conferences and meetings in Singapore for foreign participants
- Facilitation of requests for overseas study visits to National Societies and/ or the IFRC and ICRC (including visits to Singapore Red Cross by external visitors)
- Respond to public enquiries relating to the work of Global Engagement
- Assist in the drafting of Department reports and budgets
- Degree in any discipline Experience:

- Two (2) years of relevant experience in a relevant role
