Senior Market Analyst

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
- Supports the development, maintenance and implementation of mathematical and statistical models used within information based products, analytics and research tools
- Supports the construction and calculation of metrics, models and algorithms relating to products
- Performs independent model reviews on related topics in accordance with business needs and regulatory requirements to assess model risk
- Supports with the development of alternative benchmark models, design back testing or other methodologies to test the conceptual soundness of model assumptions
- Responds to complex internal enquiries related to model construction and development
- Understands the product suite from a user and client perspective in order to understand customer needs
- Solves a variety of quantitative problems arising from customer queries on the behaviour of products
- Develops knowledge and leverages a variety of technologies (e.g. C/C++, Java, Python) to turn model IP into model code
- Translates business requirements, documents and requests into programming and data criteria and conducts research in order to model expected results.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field or equivalent
- Moderate experience in programming
- Previous experience in a Quantitative, Data Science and/or Research related role.
