**Responsibilities:
- Focus on improving the stability and performance of the system, maintaining, and improving the security posture of the systems, continuous monitoring of system health, and troubleshooting issues that arise.
- Handle Linux operating systems and software, able to provide sound proofs-of-concepts. Perform cross-functional duties as necessary to aid the team and have a proven history of creating tools and automating routine IT/Business tasks.

**Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 Years of experience managing Unix and linux systems.
- Proficient and Subject Matter Expertise in Unix and Linux Systems Technologies, along with extensive operational experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience in Enterprise Backup solutions design and operations
- Experience in bash and other scripting for operational efficiency
- Experience in managing day to day operations of Enterprise IT infrastructure, including the change management process, risk and impact assessment
- Experience in infrastructure-as-code (IAC) scripting on automation platforms (eg. Puppet, Terraform, or similar)
- Experience in performing VM migration on databases like Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network architectures, enterprise design and industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing.
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) on Cisco ACI and NSX-V/NSX-T will be advantageous.
- Ability to direct project design and planning activities associated with complex or large sized network infrastructure development projects.
- Experience in dealing with vendors on technology and services.
